Terms & Conditions Cancellation & Refund Policy

Effective Date: July 1, 2026

Welcome to Liquid Ride Boat Rentals. By making a reservation or renting a watercraft from Liquid Ride, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Reservations & Payment

Partial payment or full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed by Liquid Ride.

Reservations are confirmed only after payment has been successfully processed. Prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. Because each watercraft is reserved exclusively for your booking, the following policy applies:

Cancellations More Than 24 Hours Before Your Rental

• Receive a full refund to your original method of payment, or

• Reschedule your booking at no additional charge (subject to availability).

Cancellations Within 24 Hours

• Cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled rental are non-refundable.

• Rescheduling may be offered at Liquid Ride's discretion, subject to availability.

No-Shows

Guests who fail to arrive for their scheduled reservation without contacting Liquid Ride will be considered a no-show.

No-shows are non-refundable, and the entire rental fee will be forfeited.

Late Arrivals

Your rental begins at your scheduled reservation time. Late arrivals do not extend the rental period.

If you have not arrived within 20 minutes of your scheduled start time and have not

contacted us, Liquid Ride reserves the right to cancel your reservation and release the watercraft to another customer without refund.

Weather Policy

Safety is our highest priority.

Rentals continue during light rain and normal weather conditions.

If Liquid Ride determines that weather or lake conditions are unsafe due to:

• High winds

• Lightning

• Wildfire smoke

• Mechanical hazards

• Other unsafe conditions

you may choose to:

• Reschedule your rental at no charge, or

• Receive a full refund.

The decision to cancel due to weather rests solely with Liquid Ride.

Mechanical Issues

If a mechanical failure occurs that is not caused by operator misuse or damage:

• Liquid Ride will attempt to repair or replace the watercraft.

• If a replacement is unavailable, a prorated refund may be issued for the unused rental time.

Early Returns

No refunds or credits will be issued for rentals returned early for personal reasons.

Operator Requirements

The person signing the rental agreement must:

• Meet the minimum age required by law.

• Present valid government-issued photo identification.

• Present a valid driver's licence.

• Meet all legal requirements to operate the rented watercraft.

• Follow all federal, provincial and local boating regulations.

Liquid Ride reserves the right to refuse any rental if safety concerns exist.

Safety

For everyone's safety:

• A mandatory safety orientation will be provided before departure.
  

• Life jackets and required safety equipment must remain onboard at all times.

• The operator is responsible for the safe operation of the watercraft and all passengers.

The renter agrees to operate the vessel responsibly and in accordance with Transport Canada regulations.

Damage Responsibility

The renter accepts full responsibility for any damage caused during the rental period, including but not limited to:

• Collision damage

• Dock damage

• Hull damage

• Propeller or impeller damage

• Interior damage

• Lost or damaged equipment

• Excessive cleaning

• Negligent operation

• Towing or recovery costs resulting from operator error

A pre-rental and post-rental inspection will be completed.

Fuel

Fuel is included with your rental unless otherwise stated.

If excessive fuel is consumed beyond the included amount, additional charges may apply.

Prohibited Activities

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Operating under the influence of alcohol or drugs

• Reckless or dangerous operation

• Racing

• Towing unauthorized equipment

• Allowing unauthorized operators

• Exceeding passenger capacity

• Operating outside approved areas

Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of the rental without refund.

Assumption of Risk

Boating and watersports involve inherent risks, including injury, illness, property damage, drowning, collision, changing weather, and other unforeseen hazards.

By renting from Liquid Ride, you voluntarily assume these risks.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Liquid Ride Boat Rentals, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Personal injury

• Death

• Property damage

• Loss of personal belongings

• Delays

• Weather-related interruptions

• Indirect or consequential damages arising from the rental or use of any watercraft.

Photography & Marketing

Liquid Ride may occasionally photograph or record activities for promotional purposes.

If you prefer not to appear in photographs or videos, please notify our staff before your rental.

Privacy

Personal information is collected only for reservation, rental, insurance, legal compliance, and customer service purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.

Customer Acknowledgement

By checking the box below and completing your reservation, you acknowledge that:

• You have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

• You understand and accept the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

• You understand that cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows are non-refundable.

• You agree to operate the watercraft safely and responsibly.

• You accept responsibility for any damage occurring during your rental.

• You understand that boating activities involve inherent risks and voluntarily assume those risks.
  

• You have read and agree to Liquid Ride's Privacy Policy.

• I have read, understood, and agree to the Liquid Ride Boat Rentals Terms & Conditions, Cancellation & Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy.
