Liquid Ride Boat Rentals is located at 16020 Oyama Lake Country, BC, on the beautiful shores of Wood Lake, with easy access to both Wood Lake and Kalamalka Lake.
What types of watercraft do you rent?
We offer a premium fleet including:
- Pontoon boats
- A Luxury cruiser
- Jet skis (Sea-Doo)
- Paddle boards
Whether you're looking for a relaxing family day, a sunset cruise, or an exciting day on the water, we have something for everyone.
Do I need boating experience?
No. We welcome both first-time and experienced boaters. Before every rental, we'll provide a complete orientation covering:
- Safe boat operation
- Local boating rules
- Navigation
- Safety equipment
- Docking procedures
If you're new to boating or simply want to relax, you can also book one of our guided experiences.
Do I need a boating licence?
A Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) is recommended. If you don't have one, we'll help determine the best rental option for your experience level and explain any applicable requirements before your rental.
Can someone else drive the boat?
Yes, as long as they meet our age and experience requirements and are approved before departure.
Is there an age requirement?
The primary renter must be at least 25 years old and possess a valid government-issued photo ID.
Reservations & Payments
How do I book?
Reservations can be made quickly and securely through our website. Simply choose your watercraft, select your preferred date and time, and complete your booking online.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during weekends and holidays, as availability is limited.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and secure online payments.
Is a damage deposit required?
Yes. A pre-authorized security deposit is required before departure. The amount varies depending on the watercraft and is released after the rental once the equipment has been inspected.
Rental Information
What's included with my rental?
Every rental includes:
- Approved life jackets
- Required safety equipment
- Full orientation
- Fuel (up to the included amount)
- Emergency contact information
Is fuel included?
Yes. Fuel is included up to the amount provided at departure. Additional fuel required beyond that amount may be charged.
Can I bring food and drinks?
Absolutely! You're welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages. Please help keep our boats clean by removing all garbage after your rental.
Can I bring alcohol?
Alcohol is permitted only when the boat is safely anchored or docked and the operator is not consuming alcohol. Operating a boat while impaired is illegal and will result in immediate termination of your rental.
Can I bring my dog?
Well-behaved dogs, with trimmed nails, are welcome on select boats with prior approval. Please contact us before booking. Additional cleaning fees may apply if excessive pet hair or damage occurs.
Weather
What happens if the weather is bad?
Your safety is our priority. If unsafe weather conditions prevent your rental, we'll gladly help you:
- Reschedule your booking
- Transfer your reservation to another available date
- Receive a refund if rescheduling isn't possible
Light rain does not automatically qualify as unsafe weather.
Cancellations
What is your cancellation policy?
- More than 24 hours before your rental: Full refund.
- Less than 24 hours before your rental: Deposit is non-refundable.
- No-shows: No refund.
Late Arrivals: Arriving 20 minutes late or more for your rental will result in equally less rental time and may forfeit your rental entirely, which is non-refundable.
What if my boat has a mechanical issue?
If a mechanical issue occurs that isn't caused by misuse or damage:
- We'll attempt to replace the watercraft whenever possible.
- If a replacement isn't available, you'll receive a prorated refund for the unused rental time.
- If the issue occurs shortly after departure, we may offer a full refund or reschedule your rental.
Safety
Is safety equipment provided?
Yes. Every rental includes Transport Canada-approved life jackets and all required safety equipment.
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing:
- Sunscreen
- Hat
- Sunglasses
- Towel
- Water
- Snacks
- Camera
- Waterproof phone case
Can I tow a tube or wakeboard?
No, our boats are not made to tow wakeboards or other watercraft.
Before You Arrive
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled departure to complete paperwork, receive your orientation, and inspect the watercraft.
What should I bring with me?
Please bring:
- Valid government-issued photo ID
- Credit card used for booking
- Boating licence (if applicable)
- Booking confirmation
